How long does it take to make my items?

 

Once we have received an order, each item is uniquely handcrafted, cast, and sealed. Most of my products have a make time of 2-3 days.

 

I make most of our items to order, so please factor in the time to create each piece. A select few are held in stock, and so are usually sent prior to these times.

What are your delivery times? 

 

I send all standard delivery items by Royal Mail First Class 2-4 days. Please contact for express shipping on items, this is usually 1-3 days.

 

You could expect potential delays from Royal Mail because of COVID.

What are Pastel & Moon items made from? 

 

I make all of our items from Jesmonite in our home studio. Jesmonite is a natural eco-friendly, safe alternative to resin, plaster, or concrete.

 

Each item is handmade, cast, hand-sanded, and sealed in our studio. This means every piece is unique, therefore colour and pattern may vary slightly and air bubbles may occur, but this is part of the process when working with this material.

Can my items be put in the dishwasher or microwave?

 

We do not advise to use Jesmonite in either of these.

How do I care for my items?

 

Items can be cleaned with a damp cloth. We advise to wipe up strong contaminants such as red wine or coffee as soon as possible, as this may stain if you get any rings or spillages. 

 

The Jesmonite is sealed, for items that have heavy use (e.g. coaster) it is useful every 6 months to apply either coconut oil or beeswax, and to avoid harsh cleaning products, as you will damage your surface.

 

Wipe clean, not dishwasher safe.
